Easy, supple flow. Pleasing, soft, gentle red wine. Nice.

About The Wine
Light-medium bodied, super-spicy, bunchy, beautiful Shiraz here from Sam Leyshon.
This is fruit from all around NSW - from Gundagai, Hilltops and the Canberra District. Around one third of the fruit was fermented as whole bunches, the other two thirds fermented as whole berries. There's a load of savoury character going on here, with plenty of spice from the stems and a lift of floral perfume, too.
It's a lively little wine that has a soft, billowy feel to it. Cool-climate Syrah with a bit of attitude, done just right.
About Mallaluka
Mallaluka is a family affair in the Canberra district of NSW.
These estate-grown wines are made by second generation vigneron Sam Leyshon who has most recently learnt to ply his trade assisting Bryan Martin and Tim Kirk at Clonakilla.
These are modern wines that reflect the changing face of this exciting region. He makes wines with a wild side, with minimal intervention and are insane value for money.
With Sam in the driver's seat, Mallaluka is one of the rising stars of the region, bringing a unique light and shade to the Canberra district.
