Primal, dense, sapid and vivid. Wild stuff.

About The Wine
Kalleske is one of the premier organic and biodynamic producers in the Barossa Valley, and they also make some tremendous no added preservative wines.
This, their Zeitgeist, is a fresh, modern take on Barossa Shiraz, released while it's young, energetic and exuberant.
The colour here is shocking - a deep electric blue/black with iridescent purple rimes, this wine seems to almost glow in the glass.
The flavours are bold but bright, there's plenty of tannin here too but in general, it's designed as a modern take on the regional staple intended for a younger audience.
About Kalleske
The Kalleske family have been farming their property in Greenock since 1853, and it remains a very family affair.
Thanks to seventh generation brothers Troy and Tony they made the move from grape-growers to wine producers, and they produce an enviable range of great value to high brow wines, classic to experimental.
Their 120 acre vineyard that is planted to Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Chenin Blanc, Mataro, Petit Verdot, Durif, Viognier, Tempranillo and Zinfandel - and it has all been certified organic and biodynamic since 1998.
