About The Wine
This is a (potentially) unique blend, bringing together Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah in a still wine from fruit grown at Lucinda Vineyard near Leongatha. The individual parcels of fruit were vinified and aged separately after wild fermentations (the Syrah was made as a rose). The wines were then blended and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
The resulting wine shows aspects of each individual grape, with overwhelming cherry and earth characters from the Pinot, wild raspberry from the Syrah, and some fruity aromatics of the Chardonnay. The wine has silky tannins and a lovely mouthfeel and is very easy drinking.

Fleet Wines is the culmination of 30 years of combined experience in wine hospitality for husband and wife duo Justin and Lisa Jenkins.
They have approached their label with an eye to crafting contemporary, elegant wines that slip neatly into the modern zeitgeist of Australian food and wine culture.
They source their fruit from Gippsland, Mornington Peninsula and the Yarra Valley with an increasing amount being farmed by them personally. With plenty of great press coming their way in a relatively short time, they are one young Victorian label that you'd do well to keep a close eye on.
