About This Wine
Introduced to the Soave Classico region by the Romans over 2000 years ago, Garganega has thrived in the volcanic basalt soils of the region.
This Vin Soave from Inama is the entry point in their wines, all of which originate from their vineyards in this unique sub-region of Veneto.
This is not a fruit driven wine in any way, rather lead by a heady white floral nose, and succulent mineral driven mid-weight palate. Fresh and clean, this wine sets high expectations for Inama and their broad offering of Soave Classico wines.
About Inama
The Inama family are generational winemakers and grape-growers in the Soave Classico sub-region of Veneto.
2nd generation custodian Stefano has slowly been handing over the day to day running of the winery to his 3 sons Matteo, Alessio, and Luca, since 2010.
With vineyards in Soave Classico, they built their reputation producing Soave Bianco wines from their Garganega. In recent years they have also begun producing red wines from the Colli Berici region. All their wines are produced from organically farmed grapes.
In fact, they were the first to produce a Carmenere DOC wine from Colli Berici in 2009.
