Already delicious in its youth, this wine has the concentration, acidity and sweetness to age gracefully, as Huet fans will know well.

About The Wine
Premiere Trie refers to the harvesting process whereby grapes are selected, often one by one and during three separate visits to the vineyard, from bunches affected either by botrytis or dried by wind and sun.
The style sits at the sweetest end of the spectrum but it’s also important to note that the classification refers as much to texture and mouthfeel as it does perceived sweetness.
This is a textural delight, lush, silky, creamy and round, it slip slides across your palate awash with quince, orange and camomile but is held resolutely in place by powerful acid and minerality.
As the notes below suggest this is light style of Premiere Trie, as fresh and elegant as it is lush. Magical Chenin.
About Domaine Huet
Founded in 1928 Domaine Huet is the icon producer of Vouvray, on the northern bank of the mighty Loire River. Across their three famous vineyard sites, Le Mont, Le Haut Lieu and Clos du Bourg they make wines of great concentration and longevity, realising the inner brilliance of Chenin Blanc.
One of the earliest adherents of biodynamic viticulture and winemaking, Huet was a low-intervention producer before the term was ever known, with no additions save for minimal sulphur.
