About The Wine
This deeply coloured and seductive Teroldego comes from parcels of two different vineyards, both with pebbly alluvial soils along the Noce River.
The fruit comes out dense with minerality, then goes through skin contact fermentation in Tinajas (amphorae) for 8 months. The resultant wine is a rustic, earthy red that, despite its deep colour, is quite soft and smooth.
A mixture of floral aromas unfurl into red and black fruits, wrapped in wet earth and spice. A special wine that you could drink happily now if you wanted to, or it could happily spend time in a cellar.
About Foradori
Elisabetta Foradori is a trailblazing organic winegrower from the town of Trentino in Mezzolambardo.
Her first vintage was in 1984, with her conversion to biodynamics beginning in 2002. By 2007 she was certified and now is considered one of the most forward-thinking winegrowers in Italy with a huge international profile.
Her wines are made with a natural sensibility. The gentle use of clay amphora and inert vessels for ferments and maturation sees her mainline a sense of place from grape to glass.
