About the Wine
Pinot Gris is one of the four "noble" white varieties of the Alsace region in France (alongside Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Muscat), and it's possible to find it in many styles, from light to full bodied, and bone dry to sweet.
Willm Alsace Pinot Gris falls within the lightly sweet category. Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats over 4-6 weeks, after which the wine was matured on its fine lees for two to three months.
The resulting wine is light and elegant with fragrant aromas of peach and apricot. There is an excellent balance between the sweetness and acidity, making it a great wine to pair with seafood, white meats, or stir fries.
