At the end of the Ligurian Alps lies the wine region of Monferrato - it's a bit colder in climate than the other areas Linnaea sources their fruit from, allowing them to showcase the softer side of Nebbiolo.
Think all things Italian for this one - like riding a Vespa while eating a bowl of pasta, hand gesturing and playing a game of Briscola. This is a delicious Italian red to go with whatever carb-loaded dream feast you have planned.
About Linnaea Vineyards
The Linnaea project is a fascinating one. Between winemaker Michelle Edwards and agricultural scientist Daniel Fischl, this husband and wife team have carefully chosen vineyards and varieties from around the world that they want to work with, to make the kind of wines they like to drink.
Intellectual, sustainable and open-minded in their approach, these wines are diverse and dazzling. From Napa to Piedmont, Heathcote and beyond, they work with growers and vineyard parcels they’ve come to know through their various consulting projects.
