This is a damn fine wine... It’s a ripper. The price is exceptionally fair.

About The Wine
This is one of the best pound-for-pound Shiraz buys in the Beechworth region today.
The fruit was grown by 2017 Gourmet Traveller WINE Viticulturalist of the Year Mark Walpole on a vineyard planted in 1997. Walpole is one of North-East Victoria's legitimate guru grape-growers. Under his tender care, this vineyard is really hitting its straps.
The wine was brought to bottle by former Young Gun of Wine winner and regular Wine Show Trophy-lifter, Adrian Rodda. This partnership is a powerful combination of experience and young talent, this might be their finest wine to date.
This is a vibrant, full-bodied, spicy, cool-climate Shiraz with plenty of power. For those familiar with the going price for Beechworth Shiraz, you'll know that at just $35 a bottle, this is one of the best value for money Shiraz in the region.
