Feels a couple of years old, not six. A delight.

About The Wine
Erin Pooley has been making terrific Semillon at the northern edge of the Napa Valley in Lake County since her first vintage in 2012. This is her wonderful 2015 release, from the Luchsinger vineyard, and it is incredibly aromatic, with lemongrass, honey and the beginnings of some toasty notes.
It sits at under 11% abv but sure packs a flavour punch, with citrus and a gentle peachiness on the palate, and a long, tense finish.
Erin is from NSW stock, and there are echoes of Hunter Semillon here. Simply lovely wine.
About Little Frances
Little Frances was established in 2012 by Erin Frances Pooley, who set out to make the wines she loves to drink from Californian grapes.
Enamoured with the nuance and intrigue of aged white wine (and missing Hunter Valley Semillon from home), Erin started Little Frances in 2012 with just 200 cases of Semillon from a high altitude vineyard in Northern California, farmed by the 3rd generation growers.
Her growth has been slow yet steady, and in recent years the range has expanded to include Chenin Blanc, Merlot and a co-ferment of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
From the outset, Erin has sought to capture the individual profile of each vineyard, taking a light touch in the winery and pursuing sites where texture and complexity will shine. All wines are fermented with native yeasts, bottled without fining products and using minimal sulphites.
