Description

The stunning sparkling Rose is light yet incredibly persistent in flavour.

Crafted by Tasmanian wine icon, Ed Carr, this wine shows off the assets of Tasmanian Pinot Noir. It's the palest of pinks, just barely a blush, but the sweet red fruits and floral notes will take you straight into Pinot territory.

Stunning texture and delicious, crunchy acidity - this is a gorgeous wine that will mature beautifully for years to come.

"Precise and true, yet with a expansive palate of cascading complex flavours, reined in by a savoury, mineral-laden acid line, finishing very long and moreish."
- Dave Brookes (Halliday Wine Companion)

"The palate is intense and rich as well as refined, beautifully poised and harmonious with a properly dry finish that lingers on and on. Voluminous flavour and pinpoint balance. A great food wine."
- Huon Hooke (The Real Review)

97 points - "A blend of 61.7/37.7/0.6% pinot noir/chardonnay/pinot meunier from Tasmania's East Coast, Derwent Valley, Pipers River and Coal River Valley. On tirage seven years, dosage 2.4 g/L. Light rose gold in the glass with aromas of raspberry, red apple and citrus fruits cut with hints of freshly baked berry danish and brioche, Turkish delight, peach melba, crushed stone, dried citrus fruits and grilled nuts. Notes of berry cream on the palate with hints of blood orange, Aperol spritz, cherry clafoutis and clotted cream. Precise and true, yet with a expansive palate of cascading complex flavours, reined in by a savoury, mineral-laden acid line, finishing very long and moreish." - Dave Brookes (Halliday Wine Companion)

97 points - "Light rose-gold to coral-pink colour, a delicate rosé colour showing considerable age development. Very complex, multi-layered bouquet with leaf-litter/autumn leaf, pot-pourri, nutty/peanut brittle aromas, and there's an echo of barrel maturation evident. The palate is intense and rich as well as refined, beautifully poised and harmonious with a properly dry finish that lingers on and on. Voluminous flavour and pinpoint balance. A great food wine." - Huon Hooke (The Real Review)

95 points - "Striking aromas of tamarind chutney, ginger, turmeric and the Moroccan souk at large. Spicy and kaleidoscopic. This is an excellent fizz, delivering intensity of flavor and a precise, compact mid-palate endowed with just enough lees to creamy embellishment. Consummate poise, power and precision, with a modus of diaphanous acidity and striking delicacy in contrast. Excellent wine. Drink or hold." - Ned Goodwin MW (James Suckling)

    Tazzy is sparkling

    Absolutely fabulous

A medium copper-hued sparkling wine with bright effervescence, showcasing red berry, lychee, and white peach aromas, followed by strawberry and cream flavors, complexity of mushroom, candle wax, and oyster shell, and an elegant structure with fine natural acidity.
