The first Barolo from this producer was made in 1982 by namesake of the winery, Josetta Saffirio.
Since then, this family-owned operation based in Castelletto has strived to produce sumptuous, fragrant wines that speak of where they come from.
Today, the wines are made by the talented Sara Vezza, who has continued the tradition of focusing on sustainability and vineyard health. The wines are beautiful, delicate and finely wrought.
