First up...

MURDOCH HILL

Michael Downer, winemaker at the family-owned Murdoch Hill, has been on a serious hot streak over the last few years. From taking out the Young Gun of Wine award a couple of years back to his huge reviews and impressive wine show results, Michael just hasn't missed.

At the end of 2019, Michael cleaned up an astonishing seven trophies at the Adelaide Hills Wine Show. Seven. Including Wine of Show. Incredible acknowledgement from his peers for the outstanding work coming out of his winery.

"Younger gen winemaker Michael Downer is doing great things with his patch of Adelaide Hills. So much personality and interest in his quarry."

- Mike Bennie (The Wine Front)

This year, look for Murdoch Hill to cement itself as one of the leading producers in the Adelaide Hills. No longer a young gun on the rise, Michael and Murdoch Hill have fully arrived. See some of the newly released award-winning wines from them here.
