About The Pack

Sipping a chilled glass of Prosecco on a deck in the sun is one of the simple pleasures in life.

Here are six spot-on Proseccos from its ancestral home in north east Italy that will be ready for you any time, anywhere.

They are bouncy and flavoursome, drier than most, with crisp finishes that will have you reaching to fill the glass. All offer great value for money.

They're probably too good to use in an Aperol spritz, or just chilling by the pool, but we won't judge you for it.

NV Tenute Arnaces Prosecco

Will the Prosecco boom end? We sure hope not! Especially when there is such amazing wines being made from Italy.

Like a lot of Italian wines, this isn't necessarily aimed at being the best of the best, but rather at being the friendliest of the friendly. Don't over think this one - it's designed to be had with some antipasto, some friends and a good time.

That's not to say that this isn't bursting with flavour. There is plenty of value to be found here. With a delicate and cleansing fizz, this is all about juicy lemons, peach and white cherries. Drink this as the Italians would - with fresh air, delicate dishes and some lively music in the background.

2020 Mongarda Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut

Italian wine labels can be a bit intimidating so maybe take it on faith that this Prosecco just smacks of quality.

Prosecco Superiore is the highest classification of Prosecco and Conegliano Valdobbiadene produces the best quality Prosecco Think pizza - sure there's nothing wrong with a dirty Dominos but if you feel like splashing out then Conegliano Valdobbiadene is the wood-fired version, made fresh by the cute Italian. No judgment either way.

A Prosecco for those who like them drier.

And Babo was born.

The Babo wines are made in a fresh modern style yet remain true to region and variety at the same time. These are good times wines made by a skillful winemaker from great fruit. What more could you ask for?

NV Ca'di Alte Prosecco DOC Extra Dry

From notable Piedmontese winemaker Alberto Marchisio comes this lively little Sparkling in a classic fruit-driven style.

Marchisio reportedly turned the quality of this Prosecco production around when he joined the team in 2012 and the quality on offer now under this label is very fair.

The fruit they source for this sparkling is 100% Glera all from the cooler slopes South of Vincenza lending soft floral aromatics and a bright crunchy acidity to the wine.

It's cool, refreshing and all up a lovely package for dollars asked.

2020 Perlage Terra Viva Prosecco Extra Dry

An awful lot of Prosecco is made these days but not much of it is organically-grown. The Terra Viva range from the Perlage winery is just that, and it is a tasty number.

Refreshing and creamy, all made from the Glera grape (previously just known as the Prosecco grape...). Golden delicious apple flavours, a citric burst and a peachy finish.

In fact it's all just peachy!

Proseco Party Pack

Good variety of styles. All very full flavoured, crisp and clean. Went down very well over the holiday season. Even those who are not all that keen on alcohol enjoyed them.
