Description

Rob and Genevieve Mann at Corymbia make some of the most exciting Chenin in WA, and this is the ninth release from their Rocket's Vineyard in the Swan Valley. It's named after Rob's late dad, Test cricketer Tony "Rocket" Mann, who was famous for rocketing the ball in from the outfield to hit middle stump. Tony loved wine too. He spotted an old currant vineyard and, with Rob, turned it into a Chenin oasis 33 years ago.

The grapes are organically farmed, hand-picked and whole bunch pressed. Fermentation happens in a mix of stainless steel and large, seasoned French oak, then the wine sits on its lees for four months. It's a simple recipe, but it builds plenty of texture without weighing the fruit down.

Expect preserved lemon, white nectarine, crunchy pear and a little chamomile, with that classic Chenin waxiness and a chalky, saline line through the middle. The acid is bright and the finish is long and cool. At 12.5% it's fresh enough for prawns on the barbie, but it's got the stuffing to tuck a few away and watch it unfurl over the next few years.

"It's bright and a bit juicy, has a little lemon zest in with crunchy pear, a light flinty and chalky feel to texture, finishes long with a sort of saline cucumber coolness. A lovely wine in 2026."

Our ninth release of Rocket’s Vineyard Chenin Blanc! We dedicate our single vineyard Swan Valley wines to Rob’s late father and former Australian Test Cricketer Tony “Rocket” Mann. With a lightening arm, Tony was well known to “rocket” the ball in from the outfield to hit middle stump. Aside from cricket, Tony loved wine. An old currant vineyard caught his eye, which he quickly transformed into a Chenin Blanc oasis, with Rob, 33 years ago.

Our organically farmed grapes were harvested by hand and whole bunch pressed. The juice was then fermented in stainless steel and large, seasoned French oak barrels before resting on yeast lees for 4 months.

The 2026 vintage has all the energy - preserved lemon, white nectarines, pear and chamomile unfold to a palate that is textural, waxy and saline. The acid is crystalline, the mouthfeel chalky, and the finish hits with clarity and an all-round deliciousness.

Drink it young for its freshness and verve or let it rest for a few years to unfurl.

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.

Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.

What that means for you:

- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate

Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.

**And if you find it cheaper elsewhere?** Let us know. If the same wine is available at a lower price at another retailer (including at their mixed-six or by-the-dozen rate) we're happy to match it.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
