Description

The Turkey Flat Rosé has been one of the front-runners of Australia's Rosé revolution over the last decade or so and the 2025 vintage is the 31st release of this hugely popular wine.

The fruit for this wine is grown and picked specifically for Rosé. It's crafted by Mark Bulman, a winemaker with a great love of Grenache and a thirst for the pale, dry Rosé wines made in the South of France.

It's light, pale, dry as a bone and an absolute steal in the context of serious Australian Rosé. On the palate you can expect pink lady apples, white peach, raspberry, and floral citrus with lively turkish delight and musk adding depth and spice.

At this price, you can, and probably should, drink a bucket load (responsibly), whatever the weather....

Trophy – Best Rose of Show
96 Points
Royal Queensland Wine Show 2024

95 points - "This much-loved Turkey Flat Rosé just delivers the goods year in, year out. Pale salmon pink with just a hint of copper and aromas of redcurrant, red apple and raspberry with a scatter of dried herbs, soft spice, pressed purple flowers, dried citrus rind and apple turnover. Dry, savoury and long of flavour, there's just the right amount of acid crunch and texture, finishing stony and dangerously moreish. Me gusta." - Dave Brookes (Halliday Wine Companion)

95 points - "It's good to have constants in your life, that you can rely on. Turkey Flat Rosé is one of those constants. Consistently delicious year in, year out. Such a pretty Provençal salmon in the glass with aromas of redcurrant, raspberry and small red berries along with hints of purple flowers, dried citrus rind, orange blossom, light spice, crushed stone and red apple pastries. Crisp, just a little texture and perfect for many occasions, it's just a ripper of a wine." - Dave Brookes (Halliday Wine Companion)

93 points - "The 2024 Rosé is pale but packs a punch: pomegranate, raspberry pip, a watermelon coolness and rose petals galore. This has texture and savory spice alongside red fruit and length. Really good and recommended! It’s on the list of “definitely approved” summer rosés, although this will come as no surprise to those familiar with Turkey Flat rosé." - Erin Larkin (The Wine Advocate)

Spectacular rose

One of Australia's very best Roses and truly a wine that should be taken seriously, not just as a lubricant for a ladies' long lunch (although it'll do the trick very nicely there too!) A great pairing with chicken or a seafood pasta dish. And, just as enjoyable on it's on. An absolute cracker of a wine!

Turkey Flat, a great, good value, Australia Rose

I've bought this a few times and is a fall back when I can't make up my mind but want a decent Rose, dry, tasty, great on a hot summer's day

The Turkey Flat Rosé is the result of thirty years of refinement in technique. Our style has become archetypal of Australian Rosé, with fresh, aromatic fruit, florals and spice on the nose, satisfying body and texture on the palate, and a clean, savoury-shift on the finish. Grenache is the star of this wine and is picked in multiple parcels across the vintage to provide the components for a wine that is a masterclass in blending

Turkey Flat

Shiraz was first planted in the 'Turkey Flat' area of the Barossa near Tanunda in 1847 (though there were no turkeys, just plain bustards). The Schulz family have tended vines here since the 1860s, and current custodian Christie Schulz is the fourth generation of the family to continue the tradition.

Their name has become a watchword for consistent quality, their reputation growing for the Rhone varietals Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre, while the Rose has been at the top of the tree for the past decade or so.

Under Christie, Turkey Flat continues to develop to an ecologically positive approach to their viticulture with practices such as applications of organic mulch under-vine, organic fertilisers mid-row and a strong emphasis on cover crop management have all become integral in their quest to restore soil health.

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.

Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.

What that means for you:

- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate

Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.

**And if you find it cheaper elsewhere?** Let us know. If the same wine is available at a lower price at another retailer (including at their mixed-six or by-the-dozen rate) we're happy to match it.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
