Description

Torbreck’s Cuvée Juveniles Blanc brings together Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier from old Barossa vineyards, made in a clean, fruit-forward style that shows just how good the Valley’s white blends can be. It’s a smart, modern take on Rhône varieties – bright, textured and effortless to drink.

The 2025 vintage was mild and even, giving fruit with lovely lift and definition. Fermentation took place mostly in stainless steel, with a small portion in seasoned oak for subtle weight and texture. The approach is simple – keep the fruit fresh, let the blend find its own balance, and bottle it while it’s brimming with life.

You’ll find stone fruit, citrus and gentle spice on the nose, a soft, rounded palate and a clean, dry finish. It’s versatile, quietly complex and ready to go the moment it’s opened. For the price, it’s one of the smartest white buys coming out of the Barossa.

"This is crunchy, fresh, attractive and very, very pretty. It's an important style for a warm and dry region such as the Barossa."
- Erin Larkin (The Wine Advocate)

94 points - "The 2025 Cuvée Juveniles Blanc leads with white flowers and beeswax, green apple and brine. In the mouth, the wine is texturally chalky, fine and fresh. The 2025 season was another drought year, drier than 2024, but it didn't get as hot as 2026 has. It has white pepper and cheesecloth to close. This is crunchy, fresh, attractive and very, very pretty. It's an important style for a warm and dry region such as the Barossa. The wine comprises a blend of 40% Marsanne, 32% Roussanne, 18% Grenache Blanc, 9% Clairette and the balance Viognier. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap." - Erin Larkin (The Wine Advocate)

Cuvée Juveniles Blanc pays homage to the fresh and energetic Cotes du Rhone white blends enjoyed in the wine bars and bistros of France.

An alluring and exotic blend of Roussanne , Marsanne, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Viognier, these varieties are all perfectly suited to the ancient soils and temperate growing conditions of the Barossa Valley.

When blended, they produce a deliciously vibrant and racy white wine - best shared with a plate of fresh caught seafood at your favourite local bistro or bar.

Vintage Summary (2025)

Dry conditions continued for a second consecutive growing season in the lead up to the 2025 harvest. The earliest ever start and finish to a vintage followed due to the continual warm and dry weather, with the vineyard crops yielding less than average as a result.

High quality wines with great acidity and depth of colour highlight the season.

Winemaking

This Rhône-inspired white blend, typically comprising Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Clairette, is sourced from selected Barossa vineyards. Grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed, with fermentation taking place in a combination of stainless steel and seasoned French oak barrels adding texture and complexity. After several months, the varietals are blended to preserve freshness and aromatic lift.

Bottled unfined and unfiltered, the wine is expressive and textural, with notes of stone fruit, citrus, and florals.

Tasting Note

Pale straw green. Immediately appealing aromas of yellow nectarine, nashi pear and white peach balanced by tropical fruits such as guava, green mango and lychee. The exotic fruit profile intermingles with Asian spices such as lemongrass and white floral notes like frangipani. The palate’s medium weight demonstrates a lightness and deft touch, with long acidity and acute fruit flavours. The mineral like acidity shines through with a saline freshness. An exuberant, modern expression of Rhone varieties. Best enjoyed in its youth, it will age for up to 5 years. Pair with spicy Asian seafood salads, charcuterie plate or prawn skewers. Serve chilled at 8C/.45F

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.

Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.

What that means for you:

- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate

Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.

**And if you find it cheaper elsewhere?** Let us know. If the same wine is available at a lower price at another retailer (including at their mixed-six or by-the-dozen rate) we're happy to match it.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
