Description

Rob Hall has been making some of the best-value Yarra Valley Pinot Noir going for years, and the 2025 release is another strong case for it. Fruit from five vineyards across the valley - Harriet's, Full Moon, Boat O'Craigo, Nenagh Park and Yarrawalla - went into this Pinot blend, giving it breadth and complexity that belies the price.

The wine was made with a mix of destemmed and whole-bunch fruit and given extended maceration, which has added texture and some savoury depth without weighing down what is essentially a bright and light modern style of Yarra Pinot.

It's light, fragrant and very easy to enjoy: red fruit, floral lift, fine integrated tannins and lively acidity that keeps things fresh through a clean, dry finish. It's the kind of wine you open midweek without much ceremony and end up finishing before you've noticed.

An absolute bargain. Drink over the next two to three years.

95 points - "Mainly destemmed with a small number of whole bunches. Light bright crimson. Delicate and perfumed with strawberry, rose and lavender. The palate is equally delicate, with lovely persistence and balanced, svelte tannins. Finishes silky and long. A lovely and well-priced wine to drink now and over the next two to three years." - Philip Rich (Halliday Wine Companion)

Pinot Noir from five vineyards went into this wine in 2025, Harriet’s Vineyard, Full Moon, Boat O’Craigo, Nenagh Park and Yarrawalla. 2024 was a low cropping vintage in the Yarra. After a wet spring, summer came good with good slow ripening days, resulting in lovely aromatics and intensity. Extended time on skins has built some lovely texture.

The resulting wine has aromas of sour cherry, rhubarb and floral notes, with hints of herb and spice from the wholebunch batches. The palate is well balanced, with moreish acidity, a dry and savoury finish, with some well matured tannin from the extended maceration.

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.

Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.

What that means for you:

- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate

Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.

**And if you find it cheaper elsewhere?** Let us know. If the same wine is available at a lower price at another retailer (including at their mixed-six or by-the-dozen rate) we're happy to match it.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
