Description
Few wines capture the heart of Ochota Barrels quite like Botanicals of the Basket Range. It’s part wine, part vermouth, part love letter to the hills that Amber and Taras called home.
The base is a rolling blend of everything that passes through the winery during vintage – Pinot Noir, Syrah, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Gamay, Grenache, you name it – tipped into a single vessel and left to hum away. Then comes a walk through the Ochota garden, kids in tow, gathering handfuls of herbs, flowers and citrus peel. Sage, wormwood, lavender, rose petals, lemon verbena – all bundled into a bouquet garni and steeped into the ferment like tea.
The result is a vermouth-inspired red that smells like summer in Basket Range – roses and citrus oil, wild herbs and spice – and drinks with a bright, bittersweet edge that’s completely its own. You can treat it like wine, pour it over ice with a twist, or just sit back and enjoy it for what it is: a glimpse into the Ochotas’ home, their vineyard, their family.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.
If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
