Description
Most people know Jeffrey Grosset for his iconic Polish Hill and Springvale labels, but the G110 is the rarest Grosset Riesling in the cellar.
It started as a side project with his daughter, Georgie, after they realised one tiny patch of the Rockwood vineyard - specifically the 110 clone - was producing fruit too distinct to blend away. It’s grown on ancient, 800-million-year-old red rock, and that mineral tension is written all over the wine.
The 2025 release is a masterclass in texture. Unlike the lean, laser-like focus of Polish Hill, the G110 has more "swagger" and concentration. It spends extended time on lees, which builds a chalky, layered mouthfeel without sacrificing Grosset’s signature purity. You get intense lime blossom and white flowers on the nose, but the palate is where the action is - pulpy, powerful, and incredibly long.
With only 150 cases produced, this is a genuine rarity in the Clare Valley. It’s a singular, biodynamic expression of a single clone that shows a more muscular side of Riesling. We’ve only managed to secure a tiny allocation (12 bottles), and for any serious collector, this is a must-have piece of the Grosset puzzle.

"The 2025 G110 Riesling is light, talcy, fine and even dusty—akin to dried flowers. In the mouth, the wine is savory. It exists more on the spice register than the fruit; it speaks of turmeric and dried mint, crushed fennel seeds and something toasted, like wood-fired chestnuts. There are notes of pink grapefruit, dried lavender, lime zest and seaside daisies. This is quite a distinct release for G110—it seems to play up on the exoticism and the detail and down on the inherent lime-fruit character that so typifies Clare Valley Riesling."

No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.
No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.
Most wine retailers list at a single-bottle price and then discount 10–15% when you buy six or twelve. We've taken the opposite approach. Since the overwhelming majority of our orders are already 6 bottles or more, our list price is set for the case buyer from the start. There's no inflated single-bottle price to discount down from.
What that means for you:
- One price, same for everyone — no minimum to hit to unlock the best rate
- No mixed-six gymnastics to qualify for a discount
- Our single-bottle price is typically at or below a traditional retailer's by-the-dozen rate
Put simply: the box discount is already baked into the price.
**And if you find it cheaper elsewhere?** Let us know. If the same wine is available at a lower price at another retailer (including at their mixed-six or by-the-dozen rate) we're happy to match it.
If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
