Description
The Yellingbo Pinot is one of The Wanderer’s longest-running single vineyard bottlings, and the 2024 is right in the groove.
It comes off a northeast-facing block at 180m in the Upper Yarra – MV6 clone on dense grey clay – and is treated with the usual hands-off approach. That means whole berries, wild ferment, open top ferments, and 11 months in large old French oak. No fining, no filtration, just honest expression of place.
Compared to the Macclesfield release, this has a bit more breadth and fruit weight up front – think darker cherry and brambly edges – but still carries that lifted, savoury Yarra tension. It’s neat and focused, with a lovely wash of fruit and structure that should develop beautifully in bottle over the next few years.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
