Description

If you know Canberra District Riesling, you know Nick O’Leary is one of the best in the game. His 2024 Riesling proves it again - clean, pure, and bursting with energy, this is everything you want in cool-climate Australian Riesling.

Sourced from nine vineyard parcels across the region, the fruit was hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed, and cool-fermented in stainless steel, before spending time on light lees to build texture. It's a pristine, finely balanced Riesling with immediate appeal but the structure to age beautifully.

Aromatically, it’s all white flowers, apple blossom, and citrus zest, leading into a palate that’s generous and tightly wound at once - crunchy green apple, freshly squeezed lime, and a laser-sharp line of acidity that drives everything home. It’s refreshing, racy, and impossible to put down.

    Found this wine on a trip to Canberra and had to have a case!

    Easy drinking, smooth, fruity and absolutely beautiful served cold. It definitely doesn't last long in the fridge.

Riesling 2024
Taste:

Aromatics of white flowers, apple blossom and citrus. The palate is generous with a powerful mix of Granny Smith apple and freshly squeezed lime. The mouth-watering natural acidity leads to a pristine palate of balance and length.

Winemaking:

A Canberra regional blend, consisting of 9 different vineyard parcels. Grapes were hand harvested between 10.7 and 12 Baume, then whole bunch pressed. The juice was cool fermented in stainless steel tanks and the wine held on light lees until bottling in June 2024.
