Description
A tiny two-barrel parcel of MV6 Pinot Noir from the Leech Vineyard on the Bellarine Peninsula, this is a quietly spoken gem from Mulline’s 2024 single-site line-up.
Drysdale’s cool, coastal influence gives this wine its fine-boned structure and vibrant acidity, while the clone brings depth, spice and a lovely gentle grip. It’s a wine that dances between red fruit brightness and savoury complexity and is downright delicious from the get-go.
Think wild strawberry, rhubarb, and a touch of autumnal spice. There’s a lovely sour cherry tang and a faint herbal note threading through the finish.
Elegant, subtle, and full of character, this is Mulline Pinot in its most restrained and poised expression. Only two barrels made so as always, blink and you’ll miss it.

"From the Leech vineyard planted in '98. MV6 clone, fully destemmed and 15% new wood. A deep, bright crimson purple. Brooding with aromas of morello cherry, black plums and some rose bush and hedgerow scents, despite there being no whole bunches! The palate is ripe, balanced and with velvety tannins that make this the readiest to drink of the five (all superb) single-vineyard pinots from '24."

"Complexity, depth and finish. This pinot noir is a genuine contender. Undergrowth, boysenberry, dark cherries and beetroot juice, with earth, spice and woodsmoke notes as depth players. There’s an extra twig-like snap to the tannin and a general impression that there’s a lot going on under the bonnet. Seriously impressed by this."

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
