The Piccadilly Valley is sacred ground for Chardonnay in the Adelaide Hills and Jasper Button knows how to make it sing. His 2024 release comes from two small, high-altitude vineyards sitting between 450 and 500 metres: the Eurilla site, leased by Jasper, and one of the oldest Chardonnay plantings in Piccadilly.
The fruit was handpicked in March, whole-bunch pressed to just 55% extraction, then settled overnight before wild fermentation in old barrels. It spent a year on lees and another six months in stainless steel before bottling, building both texture and complexity.
This is a Chardonnay that strikes that perfect balance between focus and flavour - concentrated yellow stone fruit, honeysuckle and a touch of straw and brioche from its time on lees. There’s real energy and precision here, framed by that long, mineral acid line that defines the Piccadilly Valley.
We love this wine because it shows Jasper's Chardonnay chops at their best. It’s one of the best value premium Chardonnays in South Australia if you ask us.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order.
