Description
Day for Night isn’t your typical rosé. Jasper Button calls it “more Blanc de Noirs than pink wine,” and that’s exactly how it drinks. The Syrah fruit comes from the Kas Sluiter Vineyard in Mylor, sitting high at 400 metres on alluvial loam over clay and sandstone. The fruit was picked in stages over a month - early picks bringing drive and acidity, later ones adding flesh and texture.
Whole bunches were pressed gently, with only the free-run juice used, then fermented and aged in barrel and tank for more than a year. That patience gives the wine depth and grip, not just perfume.
It’s layered and savoury, with rose petals, blood orange and a little umami spice. There’s weight on the palate but it stays taut and dry. It’s built for food - the sort of rosé that makes sense alongside charcuterie, pasta or even grilled fish.
Jasper’s take on rosé is thoughtful and confident - a grown-up pinkish wine that's both easy drinking and seriously good.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
