Louis Schofield's Sauvignon Blanc comes from a single vineyard in Hope Forest. It's not your average affair from this region, a lick of skin contact and some time in seasoned oak really elevates this wine to a place of texture and serious complexity.
If you're looking for classic Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc, maybe keep looking but if you're after vivacious, lightly grippy Sauvignon with a wild streak - this will be right in your wheel house.

"Three days on skins, then pressed to old barrels. Once, it was all the rage to either completely obscure or wildly celebrate varietal character in sauvignon. This puts variety front and centre while also shaving off the brusque edges and building detail. Dried wild grasses, lemon in black tea, blackcurrant leaf and gravelly minerals. A leesy slip, sea salt and a lemon-pith fuzz complex the viscous texture, bright acidity shepherding through a moreish, mouth-wateringly long finish."

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
