Description
Brett Grocke is one of the Barossa's most exciting winemakers at the moment.
This is from his Magnolia vineyard in Vine Vale, a patch of Barossa dirt he farms organically and knows like the back of his hand. The fruit comes off three separate blocks - planted in 1996, 2010, and 2017 - and Brett blends them to give the full picture of what this site is capable of. The wine is unfined, unfiltered, fermented in small open fermenters, and matured in seasoned French oak.
2023 was a cooler, slower year. Perfect for a winemaker like Brett who favours restraint over classic 'Big Barossa'. Expect blue and black fruits, a bit of spice, a little earthy chew, and tannins that frame the fruit rather than fight it. It’s about purity, not polish.
This is a stripped back, beautiful expression of Barossa Shiraz by one of the best in the game right now.

We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. No, feel free to mix it up! There is no minimum requirement. You can order wines in any quantity or combination, 1 or 50+ bottles.
No, all prices are set at the full discounted dozen rate already.
If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
