Description
Thousand Candles is one of the Yarra Valley's most picturesque vineyards. Under the steady hands of Stuart Proud, this site is experiencing a second coming.
The Cabernet Franc is built in a classic Yarra Valley medium-bodied style. Around a third of the wine was fermented as whole bunches, giving us a beautiful lift in the glass. Floral, fragrant, supple and silky, this is a lovely example of the medium-bodied Bordeaux blends for which the Yarra has become famous.
Great farming, sturdy winemaking, and an excellent vintage all conspiring here for a delicious modern Victorian red.

A bright ruby red, this poised and expressive wine delivers red cherry and blackberry fruit aromas with hints of bay leaf and pink peppercorns. Light to medium-bodied, the fruit is bright and crunchy and those chalky tannins are crying out for a barbecued lamb cutlet or the like on a warm night. We stock three different sized gift boxes (single, three bottle and six), all are available for purchase for a flat rate of $8. They look great and make an awesome impression.
To add a gift box to your order, simply add at checkout. The special requests box is your friend, please give us as many details of what you are looking for and we will try our best, or get in contact to discuss it with you.

Our warehouse is automated so unless you tell us otherwise, we will ship your order. If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
