The 2022 McCutcheon Pinot Noir is a wine that tells the story of where Ten Minutes by Tractor began. The McCutcheon vineyard, one of the three original sites that gave the winery its name, lies in the heart of Main Ridge, where the altitude and cooling breezes create the perfect environment for Pinot Noir. This vineyard has always been the flagship, producing wines that are lush yet refined, showcasing the intricate balance that cool-climate Pinot can achieve.
In this vintage, you’ll find the wine brimming with dark fruit, bramble spice, and a seductive layer of cinnamon and star anise. The rich, dark plum character is balanced by fine tannins that wrap the wine in a velvety embrace, giving it structure without overpowering its elegance. After a challenging spring, the reduced yields delivered grapes with exceptional concentration, which were handpicked and cold-soaked for five days to extract colour and complexity.
The 2022 McCutcheon Pinot Noir spent 8 months in 25% new French oak, adding subtle spice and depth without losing the bright, fresh quality of the fruit. As Martin Spedding and his team push the boundaries of what can be achieved with Pinot on the Peninsula, wines like this continue to set the benchmark.

If you can't add more wine to your cart it means we are low on stock of that wine. For example, if you are only able to 3 bottles and no more that means we only have 3 bottles left of that wine. If it's a must have, please contact us and we may be able to order more in for you.
