About This Wine
It’s a shame that we don’t see more Cabernet Franc producers playing with carbonic maceration. The berries, herbs, and savoury spice characteristics of the varietal, seem to be such a good match for the style.
Jake at Trutta nailed the brief with this one though, it’s light, juicy and very much showcasing the hallmark flavour profile of Franc.
Hands off winemaking, gentle touch, but lots of thoughtfulness in the production of this wine, it’s a winner for sure!
