...this is definitely rich and endowed with Heathcote class.

About the Wine
The name Jasper Hill has become synonymous with Shiraz, and this blend of Georgia's Paddock fruit - accompanied by some purchased "friend" grapes from Heathcote - really puts that on display.
Their viticultural practices are formed around the idea of preserving nature's flavours, and all of their wines are grown, made and bottled using organic principles. They try to have as little human interference as possible through their winemaking process, to really allow the terroir to express itself.
If you like a bold Shiraz that still maintains its elegance, this one's for you.
About Jasper Hill
Jasper Hill is a Heathcote institution, established by Ron and Elva Laughton in the late 1970s, with their first vintage coming back in 1982.
Their vines are chemical-free, unirrigated and certified organic and biodynamic. With second generation winemaker Emily McNally (nee Laughton) taking up the charge of her father, they aren't slowing down anytime soon.
