
Tenuta di Fessina
We came across the wines of Tenuta di Fessina while having lunch at the lovely Cave-Ox restaurant, in the heart of Etna wine country, smashing back an incredibly bracing minerally white.
The estate was founded In 2007 by Silvia Maestrelli in the nearby village of Rovittello. They have since joined the higher echelon of Etna producers, converting to full organic production (certified from 2021 vintage), with a special emphasis, unusually, on their brilliant Carricante whites.
