Stephane Ogier
The Ogier family had been growing and selling grapes in the northern Rhone for many years (mostly to Guigal) before Michel Ogier started bottling his own wines in 1987.
Ten years later his very young son Stephane joined the business, taking over the running of the estate in 2005, and since then has established himself as one of the great names in Rhone - particularly around his single site Syrahs in his home commune of Cote Rotie.
Stephane's style reflects his winemaking training in Burgundy - so elegant and refined.
