Barossa native Jason Schwarz returned home after some wine globe-trotting and persuaded his father to part with a small parcel of fruit from the 2001 vintage.

This was Jason's first wine, the first vintage of the Nitschke Block Shiraz. Many more have followed, and it remains his flagship wine among the excellent reds and rose in this range of small batch, small plot wines.

All are made with a minimal interventional approach.
