Sierra Reed has made wines all over the world.

From Barolo to the Barossa, from North Otago to Beaujolais she has travelled the globe on a personal journey of wine discovery.

She now crafts super-small batches of delicate wines from South Australia and Victoria from her home base in Tourquay. She describes her approach to winemaking as a blend of intuition, dedication, and a willingness to push boundaries. Her commitment to Riesling and hunting great vineyards has even led her to Waitaki Valley in New Zealand, where she discovered a terroir that aligns with her vision of creating wines with depth and complexity.

Sierra believes in the power of individual expression in winemaking, with each wine representing a unique moment in time. She sees winemaking as a continuous journey of exploration and discovery, driven by a desire to create wines that reflect her ongoing pursuit of excellence and innovation. She has a light touch in the winery, always looking for softness, fragrance and levity in her wines.
