Littorai Wines is a small, family-owned and operated sustainable winery producing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the north coast of California, in Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. These are USA cult wines of the highest order - sought out by collectors the world over.
Proprietors Heidi and Ted Lemon are lifelong winemakers. Ted began his career working for four years in the heart of Burgundy and in 1982, became the first American hired to manage a property in Burgundy; Domaine Guy Roulot in Meursault.
Since 2017, 100% of their fruit is farmed organically with 85% under biodynamic practices, while the winery itself is situated on a 30 acre integrated biodynamic farm, where they use as many homemade preparations as possible. The Pinot Noirs they produce are exquisite. They are poised, polished, premium wines that develop beautifully with age.
