The Jobard family have been farming in Meursault for several generations. Since the retirement of Francois Jobard in 2007 the Domaine's enviable list of terroirs have been in the very capable, some are arguing even more capable, hands of his son Antoine.
The Jobard vineyards have always been farmed organically and in 2019 they received their formal certification. In the winery the approach is softly, softly and their long slow ferments lend a depth and clarity to the wines that is simply mind boggling.
These are wines from exceptional terroirs crafted by one of Meursault's most humble talents. The quantities are tiny and the allocation miserable but if you can grab a bottle, it will be love at first sip.
