Aphelion Single Vineyard Grenache Release

Rob Mack has taken the Grenache game at Aphelion to a whole new level this year, with the culmination of a seven-year project to isolate the best parcels of Grenache from his top vineyard sources.

The new 2021 Single Block Grenaches have been hotly anticipated, with thumping early reviews from Nick Stock and Gary Walsh earlier this year and now great write-ups from Ned Goodwin at the Halliday Wine Companion. There's three new additions to the Aphelion Grenache stable - the elegant and savoury Brini Vineyard Grenache; the delicate and ageworthy Trenerry Vineyard Grenache as well as the broody and intense Wait Vineyard Grenache. There's a little something for every Grenache lover to be found amongst the range.

"It’s without a doubt the finest quality vintage that I have had the pleasure of working with and the balance of the resulting wines are impeccable."
- Rob Mack on the 2021 harvest

Grenache is Rob's obsession and the driving force behind setting up Aphelion from the get-go. He's a master of the variety, finding the nuance and complexity in this grape like few others in the country. These wines have sold out immediately on release. We have precious little to offer and are pleased to share them with you. This is as good as Grenache gets in Australia. Lap it up.
