About The Wine
This is a really interesting wine here, and I think best left to Justin and Lisa to describe for themselves:
"We had an idea that was to be creative and experimental with winemaking, to push ourselves in an effort to grow and learn more. This inspiration took shape without regard to single varieties or sites. Its a blend of both! The craft of the wine was not driven by convention, but by taste and emotion. The result is a complex, unique wine that challenges the status quo."
It's a beautiful combination of Pinot Noir and whole bunch Pinot Gris, naturally co-fermented for six weeks, raised in neutral oak with next-to-no additions.
It may not be your conventional blend, but it's a wildly delicious drink. Why not double your fun with double the Pinot?
About Fleet Wines
Fleet Wines is the culmination of 30 years of combined experience in wine hospitality for husband and wife duo Justin and Lisa Jenkins.
They have approached their label with an eye to crafting contemporary, elegant wines that slip neatly into the modern zeitgeist of Australian food and wine culture.
They source their fruit from Gippsland, Mornington Peninsula and the Yarra Valley with an increasing amount being farmed by them personally. With plenty of great press coming their way in a relatively short time, they are one young Victorian label that you'd do well to keep a close eye on.
