About the Wine
From Sainte-Victoire, a stunningly beautiful part of Provence that produces some of the region’s most distinctive wines due to its high limestone content in its soils, and the resultant sun reflection from Mont Sainte Victoire.
Quite a delicate wine, an almost umami quality running under the palate, with chablisesque acidity and a driving mineral feel. Tropical fruit alongside elegant spice form a powerful core to this wine.
It’s refined, and complex, so much more so than the everyday pale Rose from the region that’s in such high demand.
About Chateau Grand Boise
With origins dating back at least to 1610 (documented history) Chateau Grand Boise sits in an area that has been producing wine since the Roman era.
Only changing hands three times in documented history, its current owners have undertaken significant changes to modernise the winery. All fruit is certified organic, and off some of the highest vineyards in Provence in Sainte-Victoire, an area of stunning beauty.
Their vines grow between 300m to 640m above sea level, and this combination of this altitude variation with good exposure to the sun produces beautifully fresh wines with excellent balance.
