All I can really say is that this is another excellent release. Intensity, texture and length are all spot on.

About The Wine
Gembrook Hill in the Yarra is a genuine unsung Australian wine hero. Their Chardonnay and Pinot are excellent but they may be best known for their exquisite, food-friendly, old-vine Sauvignon Blanc.
It's delicate, flinty and minerally, and not in the least overt or overpowering. There are wild herbs, gentle citrus and a stony, pebbly mouthfeel.
In essence it's classical old world Sauvignon Blanc in a riper Aussie frame. Simply delicious.
About Gembrook Hill
Based in the cool upper reaches of the Yarra Valley, Gembrook Hill is one of the country's most loved producers of Pinot Noir.
Founded in 1983 by Ian and June Marks, Gembrook is one of the most picturesque vineyards in the region. As well as their stunning Pinot Noirs, they produce excellent examples of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and an elegant Blanc de Blancs in certain vintages.
Ian Marks sadly passed away in 2017. His son Andrew now tends the family vineyard and makes the wines, continuing the family legacy for producing outstanding examples of Upper Yarra wine.
