2021 Mada Riesling
This beautifully light and finely textured Riesling is yet another belter from Hamish Young.
He's played around with some skin contact and ceramic fermentation to amp-up the mouthfeel in this sizzling Murrumbateman Riesling. This is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after Rieslings in the Canberra region - and for bloody good reason.
This is a smashing release from Hamish, a Canberra Riesling that feels electric to drink. Keeping the vibes high but the ABV low.

Dave Mackintosh loves to explore with skin contact whites. He's been playing with this idea for a few years, experimenting with his Smokestack Lightning range.
The Fever is a blend of four varieties, the bulk of it being Pinot Gris, that are all co-fermented together over around 40 days, going through natural malo that adds a little extra oomph into the mix.
This is a bright and very well made version of an amber wine. If you want to explore this wine style, then Dave's offering is a very sophisticated place to start.

The name 'Violet Hour' refers to the fading light owners Andre Bondar and Selina Kelly saw on the horizon as they picked the last bunches of Shiraz for their first ever release, the 2012 edition of this wine. A violet sky, a beautiful wine, and a new future ahead for the couple and their vines.
The Violet hour tastes as stylish as it looks, it hits that sweet-spot for all red wine lovers - a combination of elegance and power.
The pedigree of the McLaren Vale vineyard is second to none - it's one of the most respected sites in McLaren Vale where Seaview and Blewitt Springs meet. You get the lively, bright blue fruits of the sandy soils of Blewitt Springs with the power and structure of the Seaview terroir. It's a winning combination. The quality of the Shiraz speaks for itself.
Put simply, if you like McLaren Vale Shiraz with a fresh face - this is a must buy.
