2019 Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir
Two Tonne Tasmania has a simple philosophy; small parcels, big love. The TMV Pinot Noir is meant for earlier consumption than the Dog and Wolf Pinot Noir.
It's a glimpse at the vintage for the Tamar Valley sub-region. But make no mistake, this is not your average 'entry level' Pinot Noir, this has an edge to it, a personality all of its own.
The 2019 release of the Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir is a ripper. Ricky says it's his best yet. A cracking wine with immaculate fruit and a savoury backbone - a great representation of the quality being produced by a new wave of Tasmanian winemaking rock-stars.
Stocks are limited on this release, don't hesitate.Read more about 2019 Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir
2018 Golden Child 7pm Red Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
Golden Child is looking at classic Adelaide Hills varieties and blends and turning them on their head. Here the Hamiltons go again!
The 7pm Red is a 50/50 Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot blend, but not as we know it. It's bright and light, fresh and fragrant and with a focus on drinkability rather than cellarability.
Cab Merlots aren't often seen in this ilk but David and James have really hit the brief here. Delicious!Read more about 2018 Golden Child 7pm Red Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
2018 Bondar Wines Violet Hour Shiraz
The name 'Violet Hour' refers to the fading light owners Andre Bondar and Selina Kelly saw on the horizon as they picked the last bunches of Shiraz for their first ever release, the 2012 edition of this wine. A violet sky, a beautiful wine, and a new future ahead for the couple and their vines.
The Violet hour tastes as stylish as it looks, it hits that sweet-spot for all red wine lovers - a combination of elegance and power.
The pedigree of the McLaren Vale vineyard is second to none - it's one of the most respected sites in McLaren Vale where Seaview and Blewitt Springs meet. You get the lively, bright blue fruits of the sandy soils of Blewitt Springs with the power and structure of the Seaview terroir. It's a winning combination. The quality of the Shiraz speaks for itself.
Put simply, if you like McLaren Vale Shiraz with a fresh face - this is a must buy.Read more about 2018 Bondar Wines Violet Hour Shiraz
