2019 Ravensworth Tinto
If you love your reds bright, fresh and gluggable then you'll adore this. The Ravensworth Tinto is a blend of Grenache, Tempranillo, Graciano, all the varieties bearing their Spanish names (along with a hilarious Google-translate-worthy winemaker note) on the label.
The fruit was picked with acidity at front of mind, wild-fermented as whole berries, left on skins for 2 weeks and then pressed into 5-year-old, neutral barriques. The wine is about freshness and balance, easy drinking with some structure and interest and Martin nails the brief. It's a great example of a Grenache blend outside of South Australia.
It's a joyous red wine and another massive win for Bryan Martin and Ravensworth.Read more about 2019 Ravensworth Tinto
2019 Ravensworth Hilltops Barbera & Nebbiolo
Bryan Martin's Hilltops Barbera is a picture perfect example of an Aussie take on this Italian stalwart variety.
Barbera finds a happy groove amongst the Ravensworth range. The easy approachability as a fresh young wine, the lack of need for additions, the balance of fruit and savoury characters that Italian varieties offer all suits Bryan's winemaking down to a tee.
This year's edition sees a splash of Nebbiolo make it into the blend taking it further into Piedmonte-comes-to-Aus territory. Perfectly ripe, delicious red fruit and a lovely lick of chewy tannin make this one of the most versatile wines we've seen in a while. Anytime, anywhere. If you're looking for something to take to your next dinner party, this would be a great choice.Read more about 2019 Ravensworth Hilltops Barbera & Nebbiolo

Bryan's Sangiovese has always had that nice balance between Sangiovese's natural savoury varietal character and sheer drinkability, but the 2019 shows a little lighter on its feet. Its' bursting with fruit, finishing dry and savoury as is the varietal signature.

2017 Ravensworth Nebbiolo
Bryan Martin's winemaking is as refined as it is original, and this Nebbiolo is a wonderful example of what his colourful drops are all about.
Only the fourth ever release of the wine, this comes from the near-perfect 2017 vintage in the Hilltops region, and it looks fantastic. Bryan has uses his large format Stockinger barrels for maturation, the bigger wood making a big difference in the final product. A sort of old-world meets new-world take on this iconic Italian variety.
It will be long-lived in the cellar and matches beautifully with a wide range of foods, but it's equally enjoyable to knock back now. If you're a Nebbiolo admirer then you'll love this, and if you're new to the variety then this is a quality place to start.Read more about 2017 Ravensworth Nebbiolo
2018 Ravensworth Estate Sangiovese
Bryan Martin's Estate vineyard in Murrumbateman has Sangiovese vines on it that go back 20 years. He has been refining his approach to this wine for many years now and has seemed to find a more traditional method of production as the best course of action.
This is his home-grown fruit sent to huge 2800L foudre for 22 months ageing. As Bryan explains, "A timeless method for this variety that allows it to progress slowly without gathering layers of oak."
The proof is in the pudding and it is clear that this is one of the more impressive Sangioveses in the country. Firm and gravelly with beautiful Autumnal aromatics, this is Sangiovese with a refined Australian accent.Read more about 2018 Ravensworth Estate Sangiovese
2018 Ravensworth Shiraz Viognier
The Ravensworth Shiraz Viognier has become one of the most sought after wines in Canberra, owner/winemaker Bryan Martin now consistently producing a wine of glorious complexity from his home grown fruit.
Bryan's Shiraz is Northern Rhone Valley inspired, with a splash of co-fermented Viognier adding perfume and mouthfeel to what is a remarkable Shiraz. Given Bryan Martin's day-job as assistant winemaker at Clonakilla where he, alongside Tim Kirk, produces Australia's foremost Shiraz Viognier, it comes as no surprise to see this wine reach such great heights.
The 2018 looks sensational once again. If you fancy cool climate Shiraz then this is simply a must for your cellar and/or dinner table. Exceptional value.Read more about 2018 Ravensworth Shiraz Viognier
