2019 Inkwell Infidels Primitivo
Sourced from the immaculate Inkwell vineyard, The Infidels is a Full-flavoured Primitivo that represents one of McLaren Vale's most easy-to-like alternative reds.
Over the last few vintages it has gained a reputation for being one of the country's most drinkable/loveable alternate varieties, and is often the fastest-selling Inkwell wine, and understandably so.
The oak is set firmly to the background of the mid-weight palate and the perky red fruits and spice of this variety on display for all to see. The fruit weight, tannin, and acidity playing perfectly with each other. Simply delightful drinking.

If you love the easy-drinking, snappy red wines from Beaujolais or the slurpy red-berried reds from the southern Rhone, you'll like this.
This is a jubey little red blend from a village on the fringe of the Loire Valley. It's a mash-up of Gamay and Pinot Noir made in a 'smash-me-now' style. A sloshy, silky, simple but loveable red that is great value for money.
Looking for a red to pop in the fridge on a warm day? This is a great option. Looking for a fun red to take to your next BBQ? This is your guy.

As the demand for fruit in Tasmania increases, so too are the prices. The top value Pinot Noirs are becoming rare as hens' teeth, but here's one that you can fill your boots with if you want a stylish Tassie Pinot that won't bust the bank.
This is fruit from the Coal River, Derwent and Tamar Valleys fermented in small batches in a bunch of different ways. Some whole bunch, some whole berry, lots of experimenting from winemaker Jonathan Hughes to see what works, then finally a blend of the best parts.
It's a great drink and remarkable value. There just aren't many Pinots at this price from the Apple Isle that will deliver the interest and satisfaction of the Hughes & Hughes.
The perfect mid-week Tasmanian Pinot Noir.
