About The Wine
The NV Anne & Jean Francois Ganevat Cremant du Jura shows that good sparkling wines can be found in many other places outside Champagne.
It's made from 100% Chardonnay, sourced from organic vineyards around the Jura region. The wine spends 24 months on its lees, which gives it more body and imbues it with lots of pastry/yeasty notes, in addition to some citrusy and nutty tones. Bottled with zero dosage (no added sugar), this is a dry and incredibly crisp sparkling, this is a great wine for use as an aperitif or consumed with seafood or cheese.
Give it a few more years in bottle for some added complexity.
