Never Never Distilling Co. is here to start a juniper revolution, making some of the boldest, juniper-forward gins in the world and being fearless in everything we do. Never Never embraces the Australian spirit of adventure and the journey into the unknown. It’s been a part of the Australian vernacular since the late 19th century and is still used to describe some of the most remote parts of Australia. Never Never Distilling Co. was founded by three people with a passion for flavour and the skills to grow a global gin business. Our mantra of “Fearless Spirit” is inspired by the actions of our peers in the industry.
We celebrate the star chasers and the wonder seekers, those who are never content to accept the status quo. Like those who have journeyed into the unknown of this great land, we too search for places beyond the horizon, and let flavour guide us there. This is our journey and we invite you to join us on this adventure.
Our Southern Strength Gin is a botanical blast of classic flavour with a luxurious mouthfeel. A savoury overproof expression, achieved by elevating the angelica root, coriander seed and lemon character. This gin was developed from bartender and consumer feedback from seven separate Dark Series batch releases.

The Never Never harnesses the Australian spirit of adventure, the journey into the unknown. It celebrates the star chasers and the wonder seekers, those who are never content to accept the status quo and who always search for more. To be successful in creating Australia’s most exciting spirits we must be fearless and it is this fearless spirit that drives us in everything we do, and everything we create. That’s why we put it on every bottle, to remind us of what we always need to remember.

"Nose: Fragrant pine mingling with bright citrus and earthy angelica. Coriander seed elevates the citrus character.Palate: Oily and viscous and immediately savoury. Juniper still dominates, however is complimented with earthy notes of angelica root and coriander seed. Finish: Rich and robust, with pepper berry spice and cinnamon warmth developing late. How To Serve
Southern Strength Southside
Ingredients
- 60ml Never Never Southern Strength Gin
- 30ml fresh lime juice
- 15ml sugar syrup
- 8 mint leaves
- Garnish with a mint sprig
Method
- Add all ingredients into a cocktail tin, add ice and shake furiously.
- Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- For a fizz variation, add the mint to the bottom of a highball, gently press with a barspoon and build the drink using crushed ice.
- Top with soda water.

Warehouse Pickupis available from our Sydney warehouse in Ultimo, 2007. Just select Local Pickup at checkout. We are open 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Do I have to order in dozens? No, please mix it up! You can order wines in any quantity and variation you like. You can order 1 bottle or 50. We challenge you to make the ultimate mixed pack of wine!
Are there volume discounts? No, our pricing is designed to be the best in market already - no marking up and then discounting down! For very large orders (weddings, etc) we are open to negotiating though. Just give us a call.
Do we price match? Yes, within reason. Everyday low & consistent pricing is something we strongly believe in. We want our customers to feel confident they are always getting the best price. If you see a price lower somewhere else let us know and we'll consider matching it. We'll even retrospectively issue you store credit if you have already purchased from us but you see a lower price somewhere later on. Our price match policy can be seen here.
Can coupons and discounts be stacked? No, only one discount or coupon can be applied to an order at once.
I am trying to add more of a wine to my cart but it won’t let me? This means we are running low on stock of that wine. So for example, if the website will only allow you to add 3 bottles and no more, then that is all we have of that particular wine. The good news is we may be able to order more for you. Just contact us on 02 8376 8775 or hello@differentdrop.com and we'll organise the additional quantity for you.
Does Different Drop have a physical store? No. Just an a warehouse/office. We occasionally do events however, so sign up to our newsletter or follow us on instagram to stay in the loop.
Can I special order a wine you do not sell? If it’s doable, then we’ll make it happen. Just contact us directly via phone, chat or email and we’ll find out for you right away. Please note that in most cases special orders such as these will need to be in full case lots (6 or 12 bottles).
