About The Pack
Jared Dixon is a lone ranger on his own mission in the New England wine region.
His wines are made from interesting varieties grown on unique vineyards, sites he classes as ‘undiscovered gems.’ His winemaking is extremely hands-off, allowing the full expression of the fruit to be the focus of every wine. They are fun, don't take themselves too seriously and have a distinct energy about them.
Here you get to sample Jared's great value White Wolf of Cumbria range for 2018.
These wines are super charismatic and a great way to get to know Jared's winemaking style at a great price.
2018 Jilly Wines White Wolf of Cumbria White
Jared Dixon completes the White Wolf of Cumbria trio this year with the release of this refreshing and delightful white blend.
He takes Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, and Viognier, ferments them together in old barrels, then bottles it unfined and unfiltered.
It's full flavoured, packed with super intense aromatics and succulent fruit, no wonder considering the Gewürz and Viognier components. But importantly, it finishes dry and savoury, making it impossible to not go back for another glass.
Only a couple of hundred dozen made. It's a great all-rounder for lovers of dry whites with interest.Read more about 2018 Jilly Wines White Wolf of Cumbria White
2018 Jilly Wines White Wolf of Cumbria Rosé
Jared's Rosé is comprised of Tempranillo, Chardaronnay, Mouvedre, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, and Viognier, fermented wild with indigenous yeasts in old oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
It's bright, fresh and near on impossible to put down. The blend is unconventional but the finished wine is just a dry, savoury Rosé with a little funky twist.
Drinkability, as always, is a highlight in Jared's unique offerings.Read more about 2018 Jilly Wines White Wolf of Cumbria Rosé
