2016 Dune Empty Quarter
The Lloyd brothers have burst out of the gates with a suite of interesting and delicious examples of McLaren Vale wines.
With firm roots in the region, hailing from the great Lloyd dynasty at Coriole, this is the boys chance to spread their wings and do things their own way.
This is a blend of Grenache, Mataro, Carignan and a dash of Shiraz. Medium bodied, svelte and spicy with delicious ripe fruit flavours, they've nailed this wine from first swing of the hammer. James Halliday awarded it 95 points on release.

2016 Dune Blewitt Springs Shiraz
The Blewitt Springs sub-region of McLaren Vale typically producers a softer, more approachable style of Shiraz.
Brothers Duncan and Peter Lloyd are making the most of the regional characteristics here to deliver a McLaren Vale Shiraz that can be enjoyed immediately, as opposed to the more hulking full-bodied styles that look best with a few years under the belt.
This is made with very little interference from the boys. The fruit quality of the stellar 2016 vintage doing all the work.
