Margaret River, WA
2018 Dormilona Tinto
Jo Perry continues her quest to make exciting, organically farmed, naturally made Margaret River wines, and this is a terrific introduction.
Don't be fooled by the name 'Tinto' - this is Margaret River Shiraz, but not like we know it...
Margaret River Shiraz has at times struggled for its own identity, but this is a style we love to see. Somewhat of a 'nouveau' release, it's medium-bodied at most, full of vibrant fruit and spice and good, firm structure.
100% whole bunch, 100% whole berry ferment, 100% deliciousness.
It's interesting, it's approachable, it's colourful, it's a bit of a no-brainer to be honest.
2018 Dormilona Pinku
Here comes a playful little Rosé from the hands of Jo Perry.
This is organically grown, hand-picked Merlot with only a tiny amount of skin contact. Jo lees-stirred the juice to build in a little extra weight and chew.
It's been unleashed just in time for Spring.
Get at it, if you want a seriously smashable Rosé at a great price, Jo Perry has you covered!

This is a super little wine. Really fun drinking. It's Semillon, organically grown from Jo's vineyard in Willyabrup, Margaret River.
It's hand-picked as always, with a little bit of whole bunch, skin contact, lees stirring and time in older oak adding oodles of texture to what is inherently pure and zippy Semillon fruit.
Terrific value for interesting, yet smashable, modern Margaret River wine.
